Rio de Janiero, Salvador Bahia and Iguassu Falls

This luxury trip to Brazil includes private transfers from the airport to your hand picked hotels.  In Rio you will stay at the Astoria Palace Hotel, just two blocks from Copacabana Beach.  Your Corcovado tour takes you on a scenic drive along Rodrigo de Frietas Lagoon to the base of Corcovado Hill.  From there you will take a train to where the famous statue of Christ, the Redeemer overlooks Rio and its famous beaches.  After spending leisure time in Rio you will fly to Iguassu where you will stay at the Recanto Park Hotel. Again, private transfers are included.  You will be picked up at your hotel for your tour to Iguassu Falls. We drive through the lush subtropical vegetation of the national park.  Stroll the trail which offers beautiful views of the 240 falls.  Then take the glass elevator up the cliff face for an exquisite view from the upper deck. Again, you will have a private transfer to the airport for you flight to Salvador.  The Casa das Portas Velhas in Salvador, where you will stay, is a new boutique hotel in the historic center of the city which is converted from a 19th century townhouse.  Enjoy a panoramic half day city tour of Salvador, with stops for shopping.  Private transfers again to the airport before your flight home.
